Dear Doctor,

I am writing to ask your support for the Horse Park of New Jersey.

This would help us to undertake another year of top quality equestrian

 events. In 2009 the Horse Park will be hosting more than 48 events

over the next 52 weeks. Two major events being hosted this year are

the Jersey Fresh Three Day Event—which is the main event for riders

and horses to compete to gain a spot on the US Olympic Team—and

the annual Handicapped Riders Competition.

The Horse Park of New Jersey is in its 22^nd year and has become the

premier venue that plays host to events for equestrians to compete

 as well as exhibitors to present their breed of horses.

The Horse Park’s mission is to provide a state of the art facility for

equestrians, both locally and internationally, to have the ability to

enter competitive events such as the Dressage Schooling and

Combined Test, Jersey Classic Horse Show, NJ State 4-H Championships.

Our finest annual show is the Jersey Fresh Three-Day Event, which plays 

a key role in selecting America’s gold medal-winning equestrians. It is

internationally recognized for FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale)

and CCI (Concours Complet International) level competitions, which

produces Olympic riders such as David O’Connor—President of the

United States Equestrian Foundation.

The HRH of NJ—Horseback Riding for the Handicapped of New Jersey—uses

The Horse Park for their annul competition which allows children and adults

 who are physically, mentally, and/or emotionally challenged to participate

and compete while promoting recreational and therapeutic opportunities.

Additional events being held this year are The Garden State Appaloosa, and

the New Jersey Palomino Exhibitors, as well as, the Jersey Classic Horse Sale.

With rising costs of utilities and maintenance, our budgets cannot cover

 these expenses. That is why we rely on the generosity of professionals

like you to enable us to provide the type of facility necessary for high

quality events.

A donation from you would not only make you a supporter of champions,

but, your gift will go a long way in helping us undertake our 2009 season.

It would ensure that all equestrians have access to a state of the art facility

for all their competitions.
