Case Studies are More Effective In Getting Your Information To The Public

Business owners and consumers get inundated with hundreds of brochures, direct mail, and probably thousands of emails.  They usually end up in the recycle bin, the trash, or deleted.

Case Studies, however, are a better source to distribute the information you need to make public.

Through the use of storytelling and third party testimonials, case studies create a visual image of your product or service from the perspective of a happy customer.

You can use them in just about any sales, marketing or public relations communication or campaign.

Case studies can be used in many ways that will increase your bottom line:

  1. Use it in a press release.                                                                                                  A case study can be edited down and reformatted into a press release.  It's an easy way to direct a customer to your website or send them the more detailed version of the case study.
  2. Mail or email it to prospective customers.                                                                   This is a good way to keep your customers informed of new products or services, and/or convert new prospects into customes.
  3. Give it to sales.                                                                                                                   Sales people love using case studies in their presentations because they are able to give their prospects information that is more detailed and include testimonials.
  4. Post it on your web site.                                                                                                   A case study adds valuable content to your web site thereby improving traffic to your site.
  5. Use it as a story in your nesletter or ezine.                                                           Success stories based on real-world applications get the highest readership in company newsletters and ezines.
  6. As a speaker topic.                                                                                                     When an executive needs to give a talk at a meeting or conference, a case study makes an excellent presentation.  The printed case sutdy can be used as a handout.
  7. In lead-generation programs.                                                                                                                                                       A case study makes a good "free giveaway" in an ad, email, direct mailer and on a website.  This is an Information Premium that works well in direct mail.
  8. For testimonials.                                                                                                 Testimonials make make benefits believable.  Quotes from happy customers are very powerful.
  9. As a trade show handout.                                                                                            Case studies are stronger than brochures and flyers and have a much lesser chance of being thrown away.
